How He cares

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life Mathew 6:25-34

With the morning dew and the rising of the light the birds scavenger the shores of the coast. they faithfully walked the shoreline dipping into the sand to scoop out their morning share. The elements around them are able to provide but the bird had to be intentional about walking forward and leaning in.

In the same manner the elements around us are all there. The opportunities are all around us and every need has been met. A bird can’t sit in its nest and assume food will drop from heaven for them. Sure, even then the Lord with His Mighty hand has even done that for His people when their circumstances didn’t give hope. But what I believe is that the blessings are all around us and ready for us if we are willing to obtain them.

We walk faithfully, put in work and receive that which the Lord has offered for us. This isn’t for our salvation because we are saved through faith not our works but this is in regards to the blessing and promises of God.

We are a blessed nation but we must put in the effort, walk alongside the promises of the Lord and receive them with faith. I have faith that the Lord will give us the resources for change, and every other need we need.

Be pink!

Here you can see which bird has eaten enough of the pink food from the sea to transform its outside to reflect what is inside, an overflow of pink! I’m sure there is a science and reason behind this design but for our reasons let’s assume that kind of habit and nature. Let us be so consumed with God’s presence that we too begin to transform and stand out like a pink bird among white ones. Let us take from the gracious hand of God all that He has so wonderfully supplied to us. Bit by bit, day by day.

Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days
