Big Dreams Breakthrough

Its as if you see it clearly marked out before you, how life is supposed to play out, how the pieces will just work themselves out; until they don’t. They get bent out of shape, torn at the edges and miss-figured; there is no way this chapter in my life will continue you seem to say to yourself; something has got to break. All of a sudden you see your missteps and mistakes play out in front of you like a ballet with no words. The motions are there and you’re trapped in the moment wishing you can change the course of action but unable to. You look around, everything is the same. The empty feelings are still there, the crippling fear lingers somewhere deep inside. Mustering the strength you get up, slap a smile on and say it’s not all that bad. You hustle through the day and feel accomplished and fulfilled until it runs out and you repeat.
Unfortunately, this is how a majority of society, moms especially, can feel in life. Pre-planning for greatness, success, joy and getting what feels like the short end of the stick; routine, sleepless nights, taxi services and repeat. You get to the place of mess and this is where I want to meet you. The place of emptiness, stress, worry, and fears. In our weaknesses the Lord Jesus Christ meets us and takes us from internal turmoil to internal peace; He trades our weaknesses for His strength, not allowing us to carry the burden of life on our shoulders. He invites us to take on a relationship, not of religion and obligation but out of a deep love and reverence. To experience that relationship you have to accept the love of the Father into your life, for you, and allow Him to live through you in all you do.
When we examine the price paid on Calvary and the bride price that was paid to obtain us as His bride, as Denese Glen puts it wonderfully, we soak in the bigger lifeline we were meant to carry out. Instead of sitting and wishing the ballet to stop playing in our minds and how we could of changed something, let us take a moment. Here is where we reflect. Could there be more, are there not hidden talents created by the Lord for us to impact the world around us? The crippling thoughts seep in, you don’t have the time, the resources, or the finances and leisure to take on this challenge. Stay were you are, it’s good enough. It’s not about the financial blessing but utilizing your gifts and abilities in a godly way to impact the dark world around you with your light. It’s about operating that business with Godly fear, passion and abilities the Lord has given you. It’s about impacting your community and being the light to those who join in on your venture. This of course takes a step of faith.
I have a big dream but what is even bigger is my God. I ask for His provision on this dream that is near impossible. I want to write out the journey here because I believe this is a story about defeating Goliath with a stone. It’s not about my ability but using what I have and having God be glorified through the stone I throw out in faith. I want it to impact giants in my life. Those fears to be dead, those intimidation to fall and those financial mountains to crumble. If my God can make Jericho walls fall for His people to receive His promises how much more can He make water’s come out of rocks and blessings from dry ground spring up! I’m believing in a miraculous God, wont you join in the same faith as me? Hebrews 11:6
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Genesis 15:6 “And Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD counted him as righteous because of his faith. ” What do we believe the Lord for today?
It is impossible to please God without faith” and Abraham was counted righteous because he believed in the God who was able to raise his son from the dead”.
